Pros: There's a lot of visual content which is nice. The themes are likely to be interesting for a Japanese reader (food, etc.). The explanations are given both in Japanese and Spanish.
Cons: For a book that is supposed to be the first contact with Spanish I find it to be a little bit unnecessarily complicated. It suddenly introduces many things that confuse students and that could be easily explained further on when they get used a bit more to the new language. First lesson: "¿Cuáles son vuestros apellidos?" Some of the sentences don't sound really natural although they are of course grammatically correct.
